Sustainability is not a goal.
It is our minimum requirement.
At Norco Interior, we see sustainability as a natural part of our business development. Through our product portfolio and interior concepts, we work to increase resource efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and contribute to cost savings.

At Norco Interior, we believe that people build businesses by doing business the “right” way. This principle guides all our actions — maintaining our commitment to our customers, treating our employees with respect, delivering shareholder value, making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work, and taking action to reduce our environmental footprint.
Sustainable operations
Like ripples in water, our decisions impact both people and the environment — every day. For many years, Norco Interior has actively worked to ensure that the products and services we deliver take the greatest possible account of both social and environmental sustainability throughout their entire lifecycle.
We know we cannot change the world on our own — but together we can make a real difference. That is an opportunity we want to embrace, in close collaboration with our customers and suppliers.
Together with our customers, we develop projects and products that maintain high quality while reflecting their brand identity and values. With our suppliers, we collaborate to improve both social and environmental conditions where our products are manufactured. We strive for openness and transparent dialogue throughout the supply chain — with the goal of continuously driving improvements and supporting suppliers who are leading the way in sustainability.
Our focus on sustainability helps us minimize negative impact while contributing to a positive transition. For people. For the planet. And for business.
Efficiency and environmental responsibility
At Norco Interior, we work to make the entire value chain more efficient — with fewer emissions and less waste. Through responsible choices of suppliers, raw materials, production methods, and transport solutions, we contribute to a more sustainable result, from concept to finished interior. Within our own operations, we have conducted active environmental and sustainability initiatives for many years, both socially and ecologically. And we continue to drive development forward — with the goal of building a long-term sustainable business.
Sustainability requirements in the supply chain
For us, it is essential that sustainability permeates the entire value chain. Therefore, we set clear requirements to ensure that the materials and products we purchase are produced responsibly and sustainably. Through our Code of Conduct, we ensure that our suppliers follow clear guidelines — and depending on the relationship, maturity, and risk level, we follow up compliance through various methods and tools.
Energy-efficient production
As a producer, we have a clear goal: to reduce our total energy consumption while increasing the share of renewable energy. This work is driven by both environmental responsibility and cost efficiency. Our production facilities are continuously upgraded with modern systems to reduce energy use and climate impact. In 2023, for example, we installed solar panels at our production unit in Ciechanów, Poland.
Sustainable transportation
Transport accounts for a significant portion of our indirect emissions. We actively work to reduce these without compromising efficiency. Through local presence, smart logistics, and improved transport alternatives, we reduce both emissions and costs — benefiting our customers. The ability to produce and deliver locally is an important factor in our business decisions and contract negotiations.

Work environment and employees
We strive to provide a safe and healthy work environment where no one risks injury or illness due to their work. Our goal is a safe and sustainable operation where risks are eliminated and work-environment challenges minimized. We view our employees as our most valuable asset. Attracting, engaging, and developing the right people is crucial to our long-term success. Therefore, we aim to be a responsible employer that both attracts and retains competent, committed individuals.
We know that motivation, job satisfaction, and involvement are essential for our employees to grow — and for our group to continue expanding. Therefore, we actively work with competence development and career opportunities.
A systematic work environment approach
Our work environment efforts are based on continuous analysis, surveys, and risk assessments, followed by concrete actions and follow-up. We work proactively in close cooperation with employees and representatives. Focus areas include risk awareness, safe behavior, and strong communication, particularly during organizational changes. We maintain a shared regulatory framework within the group and require our suppliers to comply with applicable local workplace regulations.
Workplace safety
We strive to create a safe working environment where no one is harmed. Safety equipment must always be available, and clear procedures must exist for all health and safety-related situations — who does what, how, and when. All accidents, incidents, and risk observations must be reported, analyzed, and lead to improvements. Our goal is zero workplace accidents. We identify risks related to fire, chemicals, machine failure, and power outages, and we maintain evacuation and action plans to minimize harm.

Business ethics and human rights
In addition to the requirements we place on our suppliers, we have a clear internal framework that governs how we act within our own operations. All employees at Norco Interior sign our Code of Conduct upon employment — a commitment based on respect for human rights and a high ethical standard.
We have zero tolerance for all forms of bribery, kickbacks, and corruption. Read more about our anti-corruption work under the heading Anti-corruption.
Human rights
Norco Interior respects human rights and works to take responsibility across all related areas. We strive to identify, prevent, and ensure that negative impacts on human rights do not occur in any part of our value chain, and to take immediate action if any such occurrence is identified. Human rights are primarily regulated through our Code of Conduct and our Supplier Code of Conduct. The main areas of these policies and codes are summarized below.
Freedom of Association and the Right to Collective Bargaining
All employees at Norco Interior have the right to freely form, join, or refrain from joining a trade union of their choice and have the right to collective bargaining.
Forced and Compulsory Labor
All work must be voluntary. Norco Interior does not permit any form of forced or compulsory labor. All employees have the right to leave their employment in accordance with their contracts or local laws.
Child labor
No form of child labor or other exploitation of children may occur within Norco Interior’s value chain. Neither Norco Interior nor our suppliers employ workers without completed compulsory schooling or under the age of 15. Employees under 18 years of age may not perform hazardous or heavy work or work night shifts.
Workplace and compensation
Norco Interior and our suppliers must provide a work environment that is healthy, safe, and compliant with applicable local laws for all employees. Norco Interior works systematically with both physical and psychological health and safety. Risk assessments for accidents are conducted regularly, and both incidents and accidents are reported and followed up. Employees have the right to equal pay for equal work, and Norco Interior works to ensure fair and reasonable wages and compensation in accordance with applicable standards in the locations where the group operates.
Discrimination
Diversity among Norco Interior employees is encouraged, and discrimination is actively opposed. Norco Interior and our suppliers must offer all employees equal opportunities (e.g., personal development, further education, salary levels), and no one — regardless of ethnicity, color, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, parental status, marital status, pregnancy, religion, political opinion, ethnic origin, social background, social status, age, union membership, or disability — may be discriminated against. Harassment in the form of physical or psychological abuse, as well as all forms of threats, is strictly prohibited. Employees at Norco Interior share a collective responsibility to ensure this is upheld.
Anti-corruption
Norco Interior’s reputation for honesty, integrity, and responsibility must be maintained, and all forms of bribery, extortion, or corruption in any form are not tolerated. Norco Interior actively works to ensure that such practices do not occur within the group.
The term corruption refers to the abuse of a position of trust for personal or company gain, for example through the use of bribes. It is prohibited to offer, promise, give, request, accept a promise of, or receive bribes. A bribe is a gift or other benefit that may influence another person, as part of their employment or duties, to grant the giver improper advantage.
Norco Interior employees may not offer, give, receive, or request gifts, services, entertainment, or other benefits that:
- Violate accepted business practices
- Have an unreasonable value (not exceeding the equivalent of €45)
- Consist of money, securities, cash loans, or other forms of personal payments such as discounts, commissions, bonuses, or fees
- Consist of purely leisure or vacation trips
- Violate existing laws
- Or, due to their value or other relevant circumstances, are likely to improperly influence the recipient in the performance of their professional duties or otherwise risk embarrassing the company or the employee if publicly disclosed
This does not prevent Norco Interior employees from offering or accepting promotional gifts intended to maintain and promote good business relationships with customers and other business partners, provided that such gifts are modest, openly accepted and offered, and otherwise compliant with this Code of Conduct.
The management of each subsidiary is responsible for establishing appropriate guidelines and procedures regarding representation and gifts.

Consumer Interests
When engaging with customers and end consumers, Norco Interior acts in accordance with fair business, marketing, and advertising practices. Norco Interior also ensures that all goods and services provided comply with agreed and legal standards.
Competition
Norco Interior conducts its business in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and refrains from entering into unlawful anti-competitive agreements.
Export Control
Norco Interior shall comply with all applicable export control regulations, including not acting in violation of, or engaging with persons subject to, economic sanctions.
