We produce your store interior quickly and efficiently in our own factory in europe
At Norco Interior, design and production go hand in hand. With over 40,000 m² of our own wood and steel factory, we have unique opportunities to deliver store interiors of the highest quality. We can assist with everything from concept development, design and layout, to production, logistics and installation.
Short lead times are our specialty: just six weeks after the first design sketch, we are ready to install a brand-new store. Join us behind the scenes at Norco’s factories and get an insight into our production process.
In Poland, Norco has two factories with machinery offering the latest solutions on the market – one for metal components and one where the wooden units are produced. We know that flexibility, speed and cost efficiency are important to our customers, which is why we apply a well-structured process. Our installers follow a production plan and move from station to station to assemble the store interior. Steel is cut, assembled, polished, lacquered and combined with wooden elements before the finished product is transported to you as the customer. But let’s start from the beginning.
Developing new store interiors
Creating a new store interior requires careful planning. What feeling should the interior convey, and how long should it last? Environmental considerations must also be taken into account, especially regarding materials and colors. Our engineers ensure that concept, interior and architectural drawings are translated into functional production documents. We design in the CAD program SolidWorks and produce a 3D review document so that everyone can clearly understand what the final product will look like.
Production specialists
About 250 people work in production, all specialists in their fields such as welding, lacquering, sawing, cutting and assembly. They follow the production plan from station to station. A checkout counter, for example, may consist of 40 different components, each with its own construction drawing, before it can be assembled. The customer follows the process from Sweden but can also visit Poland to view prototypes in our showroom. Norco also has a warehouse in Halmstad where the store interior can be assembled so that you as a customer can see and feel the materials we use.
Creative custom solutions
But store interiors are more than just wood and metal. At Norco, we are happy to find innovative solutions for special projects, which is why we have many specialists in our network, from interior designers to electricians. Our strength is local expertise. If a customer wants Swedish birch, we call our local carpentries. If the customer prefers unique large clay pots, we make it happen through contacts and creative solutions. We have created walls made of glass tubes and manufactured futuristic podiums – nothing is impossible. When we work together, we always find the best solutions!

We are happy to be a sounding board
Our engineers and project managers have extensive experience working with interiors and can also act as a sounding board in the process of developing new concepts and interior details. This may involve choices of materials and wood types, surface treatments and production methods, or other factors that affect the store interior’s price and long-term quality. Norco works actively with sustainability and material reuse according to customer preferences. Considerations include environmentally friendly lacquers and certified wood. By addressing these factors early in the process, we can minimize our environmental impact and create a store interior that is safe for both people and the environment.
Store completion
Once the store interior is approved and completed, it is shipped directly to the customer or, in some cases, to our warehouse in Halmstad, Sweden. It is then delivered to the selected store. At this stage, our network of craftsmen comes into play. To make it easy for you, we also assist with the installation of the new store interior. We ensure that floors, walls, fixtures and lighting are exactly as you want them – quickly and efficiently.
We guarantee quality
Once your store interior is in place and the project is completed, we remain at your service. We are available for additional orders, updates and maintenance work, as well as any troubleshooting that may be required. You will always receive prompt assistance and service from staff who are familiar with your specific interior. That is our guarantee at Norco Interior!

We see it as a great strength to offer customers all parts within a complete concept, from idea to finished store. In a global situation marked by uncertainty, both regarding raw materials and deliveries, it feels particularly reassuring to provide our customers with a well-documented process and short lead times within Europe. At the same time, we maintain flexibility. We must be able to produce large volumes of store interiors for one of Europe’s largest retail chains, while also adapting and customizing individual solutions for new, smaller concepts.
